Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies and similar browser storage we use, and how you can control them. Last updated: 24 October 2026.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Websites can also keep information in your browser using "local storage", which works in a similar way. We use the word "cookies" for both below.

The short version

At the time of writing, the public website at merahrms.com does not set analytics or advertising cookies, and does not track you across other sites. The only thing it keeps in your browser is your cookie choice. If we add optional analytics in future, it will stay switched off unless you accept it.

Third-party content

The website loads its text fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches them, Google receives your IP address and browser details. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles this.

The MeraHRMS web app

If you log in to the MeraHRMS web app, it uses browser local storage (not cookies) for things it needs in order to work. These are strictly necessary and are not used for advertising:

  • a login token that keeps you signed in until you log out or it expires;
  • a device identifier that lets the app recognise the browser you punch attendance from; and
  • temporary data the attendance kiosk needs so it can keep working if the connection drops.

Your choices

  • Use the buttons on the cookie banner to accept or reject optional cookies.
  • Change your mind any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
  • Clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may stop the web app login from working.

Changes

If we start using other cookies, we will update this page and ask for your choice before any optional ones are set. For how we handle personal data, read our Privacy Policy.
